The following statements deliver a simple overview on what happens with your personal data when you are visiting our website. Personal data is all data that uniquely identifies you.

Data Collection

The data collection on this website is done by Kernalytics GmbH. You can find the contact data in our imprint section. Your data will be collected primarily by you telling us about them. For example, if you enter data into our contact form, we collect this data to contact you.
Other data will be collected automatically or after your consent through our IT systems. This is mainly technical data (for example the browser, operating system or time and date of the visit). The collection of this data happens automatically when you enter our website.

Data Usage

Part of the data is collected to ensure a smooth operation of our website. Other data can be used to analyze the usage of our website. Should contracts be concluded or initiated through our website, the collected data will also be used for creating offers, processing orders and other necessary activities related to the contract.

Your Rights

You always have the right to request, without charge, information regarding the origin, receiver and purpose of the data collected about you. You furthermore can request that this data be corrected or deleted. If you have given consent to data collection, this consent can be revoked at any time for future collection. We take the protection of your personal data very serious. We treat your data confidentially and both according to the data protection requirements set out by law and by this privacy statement.

When you are using our website, certain identifiable pieces of information will be collected. This privacy statement explains what data we collect and how we use it. It also explains the reason for collecting it.

When we transmit data across the internet (for example when communicating via email) there can be security holes that prevent a 100% private communication. A complete protection of data from the access of third-parties is not always guaranteed.

Storage Duration

Unless otherwise stated, your personal data only stays with us until there is no more reason for processing it. If you submit a valid request for deletion or revoke your consent to data collection, your data will be deleted unless there are legal requirements for us to retain it (for example tax stipulations); in the latter case, the deletion happens once the requirements no longer hold.

Legal Foundation for Data Processing

In case you consent to data processing, we will process your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO or Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO in case special categories laid out in Art. 9 Abs. 1 DSGVO are processed. In case of explicit consent for the transfer of data into third-countries, processing also conforms to Art. 49 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. If you consented to storing cookies or to the access of information on your device (for example via device fingerprinting), processing also is done in accordance with § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG. Consent can always be withdrawn. If your data is required to fulfill a contract, we process your data in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Furthermore we process your data if it is required due to a lawful obligation in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO. Data processing can also happen due to a legitimate interest from our side in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Receivers of Personal Data

During our business operations we cooperate with various external organizations. During those activities, a transmission of personal data is sometimes required. We only forward personal data to external organizations when it is required to fulfill a contract, we are lawfully required to do so, in case we have a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO or there is another law permitting the transfer. If we use external providers to fulfill a contract, we only forward the personal information of our clients in accordance with the contract.

Withdrawl of Data Processing Consent

Many data processing activities are only possible through your explicit consent. You can revoke any given consent anytime. Data collected before this withdrawl is not affected by it.

Right to file complaints

In case of violations of the DSGVO the offended party is entitled to file a complaint with the regulatory body in their country of origin, their workplace or the place where the violation happened. This right exists independently from other avenues of law.

Right to Data Transfer

You have the right to request data that we collected. We will hand over this data in a machine-readable format to either you or a third party chosen by you. We can only comply with requests to third party transfers if it is technically feasible.

Retrieval, Correction and Deletion

In accordance with the requirements of law, you always have the right to free information about your stored personal information, the origin and receiver of them and the reason for their processing. You also have a right to request the correction or deletion of your data.

Hosting

This website is externally hosted. Personal data collected on this site is stored on our hosters servers. This can include IP addresses, contact-requests, meta- and communication-data, contact information, names, HTTP requests and other data.

The external hosting serves the purpose of serving our current and potential clients (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and the interest of providing a secure, fast and efficient online-presence through a professional provider (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). In case a corresponding consent was requested, the processing of data will happen exclusively according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or the access of information on the user's device (for example device fingerprinting) according to the TDDDG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

Our hoster will process your personal data only in accordance with the requirements of providing our online-presence and will act according to our requests regarding that data.

Data Collection on our Website

Cookies

Our website uses so called „cookies“. Cookies are stored on your device to identify you while visiting our website. They are either stored for the duration of a session (session cookie) or permanently (permanent cookie). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies are stored until they are deleted either by you or your browser.

Cookies that are necessary for the execution of functions requested by you (for example a shopping cart) or for the optimization of our website (for example cookies to measure our audience) will be stored according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO, if no other justification is given. We have a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the proper functioning and optimized deployment of our services. In case consent was given to the storing of cookies and similar identifying technologies, the processing happens only in accordance with that consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG); consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Server Log Files

We automatically collect information about every request on our website. The information collected are: Type of browser and version, operating system, referrer URL, timestamp of the request and your IP address. This information is used to detect and prevent attacks and other illegal activity on our infrastructure. It is not used to identify individual users or track their behavior. The server log files are kept for 30 days and automatically deleted unless legal obligations require us to keep them longer.

We use Cal.com to facilitate initial meetings with potential clients. If you book a meeting with us, Cal.com stores your contact information until the meeting has been concluded or cancelled.
